The highly anticipated final match of the LUAWMS Football Championship, sponsored by the National Bank of Pakistan, University Branch, took place between the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology. The nail-biting encounter ended in a penalty shootout, with the Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology emerging as the champions. The final match was attended by several distinguished guests, including the Chief Guest, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Malik Tareen, and the Guest of Honour, Pro. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Elahi Baksh Marghazani. Other notable attendees included Dr. Gulawar Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences; Dr. Taimoor Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture; Dr. Noor Mohammad Angaria, Dean of the Faculty of Education; National Bank Managers Muhammad Ali and Falak Shair; Director Student Affairs Mr. Salahudin; and Deputy Director Sports Mr. Junaid Khan. The final match was a closely contested affair, with both teams displaying exceptional skills and determination. After a goalless draw in regular time, the match proceeded to a penalty shootout. The Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology held their nerves to emerge victorious, sending the crowd into raptures.
