Saturday, 19 July 2025 — The 22nd meeting of the Syndicate of Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS) was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Malik Tareen at the LUAWMS Senate Hall.
The meeting was attended by:
- Mr. Saleh Muhammad Baloch – Secretary, Colleges Higher & Technical Education Department, Government of Balochistan
- Mr. Bashir Ahmed – Advisor, Finance Department
- Prof. Dr. Illahi Bakhsh Marghzani – Pro Vice Chancellor
- Prof. Dr. Ahmed Nawaz Khosa – Registrar
- Deans of various faculties, Associate Professors, Treasurer, Deputy Treasurer, Controller of Examinations, Director QEC, Director UCDMJ, and Deputy Registrar (Academics)
Some Syndicate members also participated online via Microsoft Teams.
The Vice Chancellor presented a comprehensive briefing on ongoing degree programs across departments, available scholarships, ongoing development projects, and MoUs signed with national and international universities. He also shared updates on the expansion and progress of sub-campuses.

- Approval of the university’s 2024–25 budget
- Estimated financial plan for 2025–26

- Approval of HR and employee-related matters and institutional policies
