Grand Flag Hoisting Ceremony
Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS) organized a grand flag hoisting ceremony to commemorate Pakistan's Independence Day. The ceremony was attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Malik Tareen , who hoisted the national flag to formally commence the celebrations.
A special prayer was offered for the security, prosperity, development, and stability of Pakistan . The ceremony was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Elahi Bakhsh Marghzani, Registrar Dr. Balach Rasheed, Deans of various faculties, teaching and administrative officers, and university employees.
In his message, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Malik Tareen said that Independence Day reminds us of the great sacrifices made by our elders for the creation of Pakistan. He reaffirmed that LUAWMS will continue to play its role in promoting quality education, research, and national development.
He emphasized that Pakistan can progress towards greater development and prosperity by following the principles of faith, unity, and discipline .

Independence Day Seminar
As part of the Independence Day celebrations, Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS) also organized a dignified seminar to commemorate the Independence of Pakistan .
The seminar provided an opportunity to highlight the significance of Independence Day, pay tribute to the sacrifices of the nation's forefathers, and promote a strong sense of national responsibility, unity, and commitment among the university community.
Faculty members, officers, employees, and members of the university community participated in the seminar and expressed their views on the importance of independence, national unity, education, research, and the role of young people in the development of Pakistan.
